Here at Island Lake Lodge we take pride in our reputation of having the best cuisine in the business. While you spend the day taking on the mountain, our chefs are planning and preparing a feast that will be the perfect ending to a perfect powder day. We encourage our chefs to expand their creative flare to make your Catskiing experience unforgettable.

Our unique French inspired – Rocky Mountain Cuisine has resulted in a cookbook from Whitecap publishing. The 180-page volume covers all our favourite recipes from current and former chefs. This is a must have for every foodie! Call or email our office to order a copy.

Wine Library

Our dishes are brilliantly matched with an extensive and eclectic wine list. Collecting great wines from California, our neighboring Okanagan, Europe and the new world, our 3000-bottle cellar is a proud representation of the quality we offer our guests. Explore a new vineyard’s best or a tried and true classic from France or California. If you have a special request for a specific bottle, please contact our reservations team and they will do their best to look after your request.

Due to the specifics of British Columbia Liquor Laws, any alcohol on the premises must be purchased under our liquor license. As a result, any alcohol purchased outside of the lodge may not be brought onto the property.  However, we have an extensive and eclectic wine library and serve a full selection of beers and spirits. If you have any special requests before your arrival, we will do all we can to accommodate you.
