New Interpretive Signs
Island Lake, and the Cedar Valley in which it sits, has a long history full of fascinating information. From the history of use by locals and early forestry companies, to the flora, fauna and geology of the valley – there are many interesting facts. Guests to the area are always fascinated and want to know as much as a possible. In order to help facilitate this, we have designed and set up 5 new interpretative signs. There are 4 located on the Lake Trail and 1 on the Fir Tail. Go for a stroll and check them out.
